En: Our getaway continued on this breathtaking island named Koh Muk. Ko Muk (also referred to as “Koh Mook”) is an island in the Southern Andaman Coast region of Southern Thailand. Muk is the Thai word for pearl, so Koh Muk means Pearl Island. The island is virtually more interesting for its beautiful beaches of fertile natural surroundings.The island’s feature is of high cliffs and rocks facing the open sea at the western coast.
The only part of Ko Muk ever seen by many travelers is the spectacular Tham Morakot, or “Emerald Cave.” After swimming through a dark sea cave, you emerge onto a hidden beach circled by vast cliffs where pirates once stashed their booty.
Most of the people living here are Muslims, so if you get there and want to take a tour around the island, make sure you dress appropriate. The main activities are diving, kayaking, snorkeling and sun bathing . In the evening you can enjoy the view whilst having a romantic dinner on the beach with your loved one.
On the other side of the Island is Sivalai resort. This place is just breathtaking! I won’t say more and will let you decide if it’s really worth it or not!

Ro: Escapada noastra continua pe aceasta minunatie de insula numita Koh Muk. Koh Muk sau Koh Mook, este o insula micuta aflata in sudul Thailandei, in provincia Trang. Muk este cuvantul tailandez pentru perla, drept urmare insula numindu’se Insula Perlei.
Peisajele extraordinare, cu ape turcoaz si nisip alb, plajele cu palmieri si locurile incredibile pentru snorkeling, te fac sa te indragostesti rapid de acest loc.
Partea cea mai vizitata a insulei este Tham Morakot sau Pestera de Smarald.. Aici poti ajunge doar inotand de la un capat la altul, sau cu o barcuta mica. Trebuie sa treci printr-o pestera intunecata ca sa poti ajunge la minunatia de insula ascunsa intre stanci.
Majoritatea oamenilor care traiesc pe insula sunt Musulmani deci cel mai bine e, daca vrei sa vizitezi insula, sa te imbraci adecvat. Ce poti sa faci aici? Scufundari,kayaking si snorkeling. Poti mai apoi sa te bucuri de apusul soarelui in timpul unei cine romantice alaturi de persoana iubita.
In capatul celalalt al insulei se afla Resortul Sivalai. O sa las imaginile sa vorbeasca de la sine!
