Kefalonia

The largest island of the Ionian sea, Kefalonia is known for its incredible beaches, rolling hills and  mysteriously hidden caves. From picturesque fishing villages like Fiscardo and Assos to various natural attractions, including Melissani  lake, Drogarati cave and Myrtos beach, Kefalonia has quite a variety of choices for each and everyone.

The beauty of this island is given by the turquoise waters surrounding it, giving you the impression that, just for a moment, you might be in heaven. The easiest way to go around the island, is by renting a car. This will give you the opportunity to go and visit as many places as possible. Our days went like this: mornings on the beach, getting a nice tan and why not a nap in the same time, followed by a big Greek lunch at the tavernas in the village, then down to a different beach and ending our evening with more of their delicious traditional food.
